The people who keep each project moving

WallArtDesign is a small, focused team based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, working across the Western Cape and couriering panels nationwide. We handle everything from site measure-ups and sample matching to feature wall layouts, acoustic panel fitting and aftercare support, so clients deal with one team from start to finish.

Our approach is straightforward. We look at the space, the surface, the use of the room and the finish you want, then work out the best way to get there. That matters in coastal areas with humidity, in busy commercial spaces, and in homes where the wall prep has to be right before any panel goes up.

  • Residential and commercial projects
  • Local installs across Cape Town and surrounds
  • Courier dispatch for panels nationwide
  • Practical advice on finishes, fitment and maintenance

Morne van Rensburg leads the company direction

Morne van Rensburg oversees WallArtDesign’s product direction, service delivery and the standard of work leaving the workshop. He keeps each project aligned with site requirements and what the client needs in the space.

He works closely with the team on planning for load-shedding, tight turnaround times and the realities of installation in occupied homes or trading premises. That practical view helps keep jobs moving, even when access, scheduling or finish conditions need a bit of extra thought.

Sales, design and client care with clear advice

Anele Mbeki handles sales enquiries with a focus on getting the brief right early. He helps clients understand product options, likely lead times and what to expect during measure-up or installation, so decisions are made with proper info rather than guesswork.

Bianca Naidoo is our Design Advisor, and she is often the one matching textures, colours and panel styles to the room. She works well with architects, designers and homeowners who need advice that fits the property, the light in the space and the way the room is used.

Zanele Dlamini leads client care and keeps communication steady through the job. If a client needs a progress update, aftercare guidance or help with a follow-up query, Zanele makes sure it gets handled properly and without delay.

  • Enquiry handling through the contact form
  • Design input for homes, offices and retail spaces
  • Sample matching for colour and finish checks
  • Clear updates from first contact to aftercare

Project coordination that keeps site work organised

Tshegofatso Mabunda coordinates projects from the first measure-up through to the final handover. She keeps dates, product choices, site notes and install plans in order, which is especially useful on commercial rollouts where timing and access can change quickly.

For many clients, Tshegofatso is the person who ties everything together. She works alongside the installation team, workshop staff and client care so the right panels arrive at the right time and the site is ready when the crew gets there. It saves back-and-forth and helps keep the work neat and efficient.

Installation and workshop hands that know the materials

Johan Smit manages installation and brings a steady hand to wall cladding, acoustic fitting and feature wall layouts. He is used to working in lived-in homes, offices and retail areas where protection, clean edges and a proper finish matter just as much as speed.

Gerhard Steyn supervises the workshop and checks that panels are prepared correctly before dispatch or installation. He keeps a close eye on cutting, finishing and packing, which is important when panels are being couriered across South Africa or installed in a coastal property where the conditions can be unforgiving.

  • Wall preparation before fitting
  • Careful measuring and layout planning
  • On-site installation with attention to joins and alignment
  • Workshop checks for quality and packing

Feature wall specialists across the Western Cape

Our team is built for real jobs, not just showroom talk. Whether it is a home in the Southern Suburbs, a commercial space in Stellenbosch, or a property in Somerset West that needs acoustic help, we match the people on the job to the requirements of the space.

Because we work from Montague Gardens and cover Cape Town, the Atlantic Seaboard, the Northern Suburbs, Paarl and beyond, clients get local support with national reach. If you need panel repairs, maintenance, a new feature wall or help with a larger rollout, the right person here will take it from there.

That is the value of a team that knows the product and knows the practical side of site work. It keeps things simple, and it means the end result is planned properly from the start.
