A team that works on real sites, not in theory
WallArtDesign is based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, and our work reaches apartments, houses, offices, shops, hospitality spaces and new builds across the province. We need people who are comfortable measuring on site, speaking clearly with clients, and working neatly around finished interiors.
Our team includes sales, design, project coordination, workshop, installation and client care, so there is room for different strengths. Some roles are customer facing, others are hands on, and some need strong admin and follow-through. What matters most is reliability, a good attitude, and pride in doing the job properly.
The kinds of roles we hire for
We do not keep a single fixed vacancy list, but we regularly consider CVs for people with practical experience in interiors, building finishes and client service.
- Sales and client support for quotation follow-up and product guidance
- Design and layout support for feature walls and panel selection
- Site measure-ups and installation assistance on residential and commercial jobs
- Workshop and panel preparation work
- Project coordination, scheduling and aftercare admin
If you have worked in cladding, acoustic products, joinery, fit-outs, tiling, or similar fields, that background can be useful. Experience is valuable, but so is a willingness to learn and work cleanly on active sites.
What we value when adding to our installation team
We work on projects in the Atlantic Seaboard, Southern Suburbs, Northern Suburbs, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Somerset West, so punctuality and good planning matter. Some days are spent in the workshop, some on site, and some in the office handling drawings, samples or client updates.
- Attention to detail with measurements, finishes and alignment
- Clear communication with clients, suppliers and fellow staff
- Respect for safety, site rules and property protection
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to handle load-shedding planning and changing site conditions
We also value people who understand that interiors need careful handling, especially on coastal properties where humidity, salt air and uneven wall surfaces can affect preparation and fixing.
How our work is organised
Our jobs often start with an enquiry, then move into a site visit, sample matching, design guidance and final installation. The team works across residential feature walls, acoustic panel fitting, commercial rollouts, panel repairs and maintenance.
That means there is often coordination between the client care lead, project coordinator and installation manager to keep a job moving without confusion. The pace can be busy, but the work is straightforward when everyone takes responsibility for their part and keeps communication tight.
Growing your skills with practical support
People who join us usually learn more than one part of the process over time. A sales person may pick up basic product knowledge and project admin, while an installer may learn more about preparation methods, finishes and site assessment. It is useful experience if you want to build a long term career in interior finishes.
- On-the-job exposure to different panel materials and fixing methods
- Hands-on understanding of feature wall layout and preparation
- Contact with homeowners, architects, designers and contractors
- Involvement in projects for homes, offices and retail spaces
We keep the work practical and steady, with clear standards for workmanship and client service.
